![]() The computer i got with the used goplasma (plasmacam rebranded) doesn't work. When I mention this table to my buddy he just says I won't like it and should build my own.Basically the cd keeps telling me I have to buy another copy or "seat" in order to run it on my laptop. Basically it will be used for decorative type projects. I have no intentions of making and selling offroad parts with this. ![]() ![]() And Do I really need a hypertherm 1000? Could I use a 600 or other? I was also curious what size compressor I would need to run the plasma cutter? I have a 3.2horse 60 gallon in the garage right now. Plus I trust my offroad community more, thats why I am asking here. Is this easy with the plasmacam? I have searched on CNCzone forum and haven't really found solid answers. She would love to be able to scan pictures or just take drawings on photshop or corel program and add it with ease. She is always looking for a new hobby to sell things at the swapmeet when I have my auto parts selling. This is something that my wife is also on board for. I like the small table and by the sounds of it the ease of use of the program. Torchmate doesn't look like what I need for ease of use. ![]() I have looked at the torchmate site and ordered the plasmacam dvd and brochure, but won't see it till i get home in about 2 months. Plus I don't want to be the one cutting out designs and have his table quit on me slowing down his production. I was told I could use the shops table, but I am slow to learn autocad, sheetcam, and mach3 program. I have been deployed for about 5 months now and have been interested in a plasma cutting table for awhile. I take care of his online stuff and website. Even when I had my water table set up I managed to get some splash onto the tip on two seperate occasions and it resulted in a very loud blowout that nearly left me shitting myself! It really only caught the larger sparks/slag. I made one but I made it too low to be really effective for the smoke/dust. Plasmacam software seems to be more user friendly. I will be purchasing a plasma table of some sorts in the next couple weeks, and am torn between the torchmate and plasmacam. I haven't seen one with a water table yet. Please forgive my ignorance, but are you able to use a plasmacam with a water table.
